QA Test Engineers
Required Skills:
· Knowledge of JMS or how messaging works.
· Hands on experience with White box, Grey box, and Black box testing
techniques at unit-integration phase.
· Experience testing web based user interfaces · Experience maintaining a
set of test data.
· Basic database SQL skills (DB2 is a plus).
· Develops and monitors traceability matrix.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others.
· Proficient in investigating and providing bug related data such as log
files, screen captures, etc.
· 2+ years test lead experience
· 2+ years Java (ability to start/stop app servers, knowledge of RMI
interfaces, knowledge of basic Java concepts like multi-threading), ability
to build java applications (Ant, Javac).
· Proficient creating test plans, test cases and test report. Good
understanding of the SDLC.
· Proficient working on Linux or Unix platform.
· Experience with web services.
Desired Skills:
· Experience writing and executing automated test scripts using Selenium or
QTP.
· Any of the following certification: CSTE, CSQA or ISQTB. · BS degree in
Computer Science or equivalent.
· Experience testing X-Windows/Motif and Java Swing based user interfaces
· Experience with Load, Stress and Performance testing. · Familiar with
defect and document management tools such as Bugzilla, CVS, Docushare.
