Job Title: Middleware Support Specialist ** Location: Baltimore, MD ** Duration: 6 month contract (strong possibility of extensions) Rate: $45/hr ** Description: Many projects within the Investments area are now relying on straigh-through processing for real-time trade message distribution. Trading systems are utilizing MQ Series, WebSphere, Informatica and JAVA as tools for automation and routing of this data. Understanding business rules for data routing and being able to determine performance of the routing protocols is needed for this role. Many stored procedures are written in Perl and rely on Websphere as a means for automations across trade execution. ** Mainly, this role will be to solidify the support model for the Investments area of Application Management as the reliance on WebSphere and JAVA grows in the trade message delivery space. Covering the hours of 10am to 7pm, Monday through Friday, will help enhance the existing support team as the reliance of these technologies expand. This position will be in the on call rotation and some weekend work is required at times.
