Duration: 5 Months with Possibility of Extension Location: Madison, WI Rate/Hr: $30 is Max what we can pay on C2C Direct Client Requirement - Quality Assurance Tester Description: We are seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to undertake testing efforts for web-based and desktop software projects on a contract basis. The tester will prepare test plans, test procedures, scripts, documentation, and any other work products necessary for thorough testing of software products. The tester will ensure that all tests are properly executed and results documented, working within the approved Design Control System. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in a technical or scientific field or equivalent work experience 1 to 2 years of experience in quality assurance testing of both web-based and desktop applications Experience in creating, managing, and executing test plans, procedures, and scripts Experience in manual, automatic, regression, blackbox, boundary condition, performance and other standard testing methods Experience in environments using project, requirements, change, test, and risk management processes and tools Experience testing against product requirements and tracing tests to product requirements Possess requirements and technical documentation preparation and analysis skills Experience working with business analysts, developers, and database managers, external and internal customers Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills Familiarity with the bioinformatics field preferred.
