Location: Herndon , VA Duration : 4months. *IT Support Specialist II provides support for medium complexity applications. May create and develop software solutions to application errors reported. Escalates unresolved issues to proper personnel. Provides senior-level end-user support, which may include: providing systems administration assistance, coordinating stakeholder discussions, updating user documentation or conducting training. Candidate will provide general production support, i.e. monitoring applications, updating and addressing ticket through Remedy. Experience with UNIX, SQL and Java. Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Previous experience in a 24/7 environment. Ability to multitask. Position is for 2nd or 3rd shift, TBD.
