Additionally, this resource will utilize Metlife Data Services policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the Oracle database environment. Tasks to be performed will include implementing and maintaining Oracle instances; resolving database performance issues, database capacity planning, implement database schemas and objects, and configure backups. The DBA must ensure a quality implementation of new database systems and the consistent, efficient operation of existing database systems.
