Send the resume with contact information to [email protected] Title: MQ Developer Location: Harrisburg, PA Duration: 3 - 6+ Months IT - Architecture & Technology/Configuration, Admin & Support Core Job Functions: * Work with Web and MQ to design and implement SOA components. * Design and build common SOA/Enterprise components to be implemented across application development. * Provide problem resolutions from both a technical and business perspective. * Maintain documentation for services * Recommend system and process design changes. * Effectively communicate both orally and in writing with all levels of AES staff. * Provide weekly time reports and participate in staff meetings * Provide 24/7 support as needed * Maintain technical skills and provide guidance to development staff. * Other duties as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Ability to communicate effectively. * Ability to work independently and with little supervision. * Ability to meet aggressive deadlines while maintaining a high degree of quality. * Proficiency with Websphere MQ Series, IBM Websphere MQ Broker and ESQL * Proficiency with generating message sets with COBOL Copybooks and WSDL files. * Proficiency with XML concepts. Optional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Knowledge of MQ Broker as an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) * Knowledge of Mainframe/CICS/Cobol programming concepts * Knowledge of MQ Clustering, MQ Destination Lists. * Knowledge of Design Patterns and the application of Design Patterns using message flows such as Request-Reply, Composite message flows, Publish/Subscribe etc. * Knowledge of DB2 and SQL a significant plus * Knowledge of SOAP Nodes, Http nodes, Files nodes in Broker a significant plus * Knowledge of JAVA/J2EE * Knowledge of UDDI concepts. * Knowledge of SOAP and REST messaging concepts. * Knowledge of JMS concepts * Knowledge of SOA and SOA concepts Minimum Experience and Training: Applicants must have: * 3+ years experience in application programming. * 2+ years of IBM MQ Broker design and programming experience with ESQL. * Experience with 6.1 Broker. Experience with 7.0 Broker is preferred.
