Description: This highly visible position is on a small team that designs and develops feature-rich web applications serving our global Equities trading platforms. We are looking for someone that can work on the full stack of standard web technologies and take ownership of an area of the site. The right person will have experience with designing, developing and delivering complex web applications and be a self-starter who can work independently while collaborating with developers, users and product managers Requirements:
* Core Java knowledge along with complex data and business rules modeling. * Experience developing web applications from user facing components down to the database layer. * Foundation in web standards: HTTP, Servlets, XHTML, _javascript_ and CSS. * Experience with _javascript_ libraries such as JQuery or Prototype. * Direct experience with Struts2 is preferred and other Java frameworks such as Spring is desirable. * Basic SQL skills. * Experience deploying on Tomcat is desirable Sincerely,
