PLEASE reply to [email protected] *Position:** **SAP Advanced Planner and Optimizer (SAP APO) - Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS)* *Location: Melville, NY* *Duration: 6Months +* We have an immediate requirement for an experienced SAP APO - PP/DS Consultant. This is 3-6 month contract with possibility of an extension. The successful candidate will assist with the go-live transition, user training, and post go-live support to ensure that the enterprise is maximizing the value from the application. The role is “above-and-beyond” the implementation effort and will be expected to be an in-house advisor on best practice CPG production scheduling via PP/DS. The successful candidate will have the following skill sets/experience: · Significant experience in the design and/or implementation phase of a full cycle PP/DS implementation. · Actual CPG production scheduling experience. · Deep functional application and hands on configuration knowledge of PP/DS. · Good CPG supply chain business process domain knowledge. · Ability to innovatively apply PP/DS functionality knowledge to solve real scheduling issues. · Good communication skills—able to connect with both users and the technical team. · Ability to data model and comfortable mining/managing large amounts of data. · Experience with requirements gathering, process design, gap analysis, functional specification, integration testing, training, and go live support. · Prior CPG production scheduling as a super user on SAP PP/DS highly desirable. · SAP Advanced Planner and Optimizer (SAP APO) - Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) · The Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) Benchmark is one of three benchmarks in the SAP APO Benchmark suite. · The component Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) enables companies to plan and optimize multi-site production, while simultaneously taking into account product and capacity availability.
