*Position:**Data Warehouse ETL Developer/Admin*
*Location: New York, NY (Midtown)*
*Duration: 6 month contract to hire*
*Skills and Responsibilities*
- Responsible for *MS BI development* utilizing *MS Reporting Services*,
Integration Services and Analysis Services as well as Performance Point.
- Work closely with Business Analyst to understand business
requirements/needs
- Develop data warehouse and OLAP cube solutions
- Modeling and integrating data
- Expanding/creating analytical cubes and data marts
- Creating cube design documents, developing reports and dashboards
- *5+ years overall Microsoft Business Intelligence experience* (prefer
cable or media experience)
- Strong background in data warehousing, data modeling, data integration
and implementation and cube analysis
- Experience working closely with end users to determine business needs
and requirements
- Experience with *SQL Server (including 2008 highly preferred*)
- *Preferred Software Experience*:
- SQL Server Management Studio SSMS
- SQL Business Intelligence Development Services BIDS
- SQL Server Integration Services SSIS
- SQL Server Analysis Services SSAS
- SQL Server Reporting Services SSRS
- Team Foundation Services TFS
- SharePoint
- Microsoft certifications (MCAD, MCSD, MCTS/MCPD) highly desirable, but
not required.
- Must excel working in a team environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
