Description:
Migrate the existing Citrix Nfuse Freddie Mac specific
customized functionality into new Citrix WebInterface 4.5
- Multisuite.jsp is Freddie Mac specific customized
Nfuse code resides on Apache Tomcat server along with Citrix Nfuse source code
for integrating IBM Tivoli Access Manager (TAM)
to new Citrix Web Interface 4.5 resides in IIS Server.
- Freddie Mac uses IBM Tivoli Access Manager to provide
reverse proxy, authentication, authorization, encryption and load balancing
services to the enterprise network
- Published MPS applications required TAM user id and
group information to authorize the user.
- User access the published applications by going to the
Customized Multisuite.jsp on Nfuse Apache Tomcat server
- This Multisuite.jsp does below tasks
o Get the application Name and icaObjValue variables
that were posted, based on application names it follows specific path
o Get the credentials to passes through Citrix Secure
Gateway (authentication)
o Initializes a Citrix Gateway, gets the published
applications on Metaframe XPE server using application enumeration object
o Gets the Authentication Header variables like user id
and group, security level, inserted by with IBM Tivoli Access Manager WebSeal
Server.
o It sets proxy settings on to ICA file by reading the
local text configuration file
o Gets additional variables like loan number,
application name, for specific application access
o Sets the Command line/URL with required parameters to
launch the published application
Changes to code on Nfuse:
- Migrate or rewrite the functionality in new Citrix
Web Interface 4.5 and amend the proxy settings of ICA file by dynamically
identify user proxy server settings
and embed onto ICA file. This would eliminate requirement to maintain Proxy
information on configuration file of external customers.
- Make any additional changes to code to make use of
new Citrix version capabilities.
- Review the performance characteristics of published
application.
- Test and validate published applications.
