Position Description:
Experience Level: 4 year degree and 7+ years experience or equivalent
combination of education and experience 
Description: 
Acts as a lead in providing technical guidance and consultation associated
with operating systems or subsystems. Defines systems software and/or
hardware requirements and determines system specifications and/or
customizations. Coordinates the design of subsystems and integration of
total systems. Provides the strategy and design to build a utility for
systems programming tasks required for installations, configurations,
upgrades and testing. Develops new documentation, departmental procedures
and user support guides. Consults with management, customers and staff and
recommends process and procedure improvements. Identifies and provides
guidance to less experienced staff and/or resolves highly complex production
problems. Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the
work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance
requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates
to and testing of the business continuation plan.
1) Solid backupground in all types of storage technologies including SAN,
EMC Symmetrix, Clariion, Cisco, McData ,Brocade and EMC Disk Library. 
2) Experience in SAN fabric design and best practices. Solid understanding
and management of SRDF replication including design, configuration and
implementation & ECC Management Software. 
3) Legato Networker usage is a plus. ECC environment management and
operations
Capacity planning
Timely response to all storage allocation requests and problem tickets
Overall support of SAN environment (Cisco, Mcdata and Brocade switches)
Overall support DMX, Clariion, and Centera equipment
Support current DR processes using SRDF replication.
Software Lifecycle Management: Upgrading of all storage related
firmware/code
Daily backup trouble shooting, monitoring, management of virtual tape
storage
Create and decom server backup configurations
Networker Legato Server and client software management Support wholesale
partners, includes
Represent Wholesale line of business for storage related issues/initiatives
Make recommendations, advice and work closely with Enterprise Storage to
ensure our customers receive best possible services
