Work closely with Infrastructure staff to allocate physical infrastructure and install SharePoint. Be responsible for provisioning and configuring web applications as well as provide for top level security administration. Critical knowledge areas include deployment practices, SharePoint Central Administration, monitoring, maintenance, backup/restore, disaster recovery, and management of Shared Service Providers. Additionally this role will configure and extend site and list level feature sets. Work with the SharePoint Development Team to determine branding, advanced Web Part features, workflows, and other integration points. Understanding of SharePoint Designer, Shared Service Provider interface for Search or other Service Management, Site Settings, InfoPath, and standard SharePoint site administrator interfaces.
