Immediate Opening for Business Analyst Position: Business Analyst Location: Austin, Texas Duration: 1 year *Years* Skills/Experience 5 Business systems analysis and business process improvement in defining complex financial applications and supporting functions. 5 Organizing and facilitating the deriving system requirements from interviews with customers or requirements gathering work sessions. 5 Experience in gathering system requirements and creating a system requirements document and developing graphical user interface with tools like Adobe Fireworks. 5 Must have a strong analytical, problem-identification and process analysis skills with the ability to envision a solution from requirements 5 Must be capable of translating business plans and requirements into information systems concepts and produce and update supporting documentation. 5 Experience and understanding of software lifecycle methodologies, thorough knowledge of the software specification process and software development processes, and software architecture. 5 Experience and knowledge in defining and modeling functional business requirements using Unified Modeling Language (UML). 5 Work experience in writing simple SQL queries and knowledge of relational databases 3 Work experience in developing training materials and conducting training sessions either on a one-on-one basis or in a classroom setting. 2 Work experience in system testing which includes the development of test plans, test cases and conducting testing sessions 2 Experience with agile/scrum projects and creating and maintaining product backlog Strong Professional who works well independently or as part of a team Strong Interviewing, facilitation, problem resolution, consensus building, and negotiating skills Strong Must have excellent communication skills both orally and in writing *Years* Skill/Experience 5 Experience with requirements analysis case tools like Optimal Trace and UML modeling tools like Enterprise Architect 3 Experience with defining business workflow and document management.
