Description: The entire interview will be centered around Winforms, so please, please, please make sure your candidates have extensive Winforms experience. This is a position in the development group for a major audit application. The person will be responsible for designing and implementing various application components, using Microsoft .Net and SQL Server, as well as evaluating new technologies as needed. The person will work closely with other members of the team, including business analysts, team leads, quality assurance, infrastructure, and project management. The person must have the ability to work independently on assignments with minimal supervision. In addition, the person should possess the ability to both create and clearly articulate the optimal design to meet the project objectives. Experience with large project teams in a multi site development environment is very desirable. - Requires 3+ years of solid hands-on experience developing distributed or client-server applications using all or almost all of the following technologies: object-oriented analysis and design, .NET (C#, ADO.NET, ASP.NET, Win Forms), SQL Server (stored procedures, TSQL, schema design), COM+, XML, HTML - Prefer 2+ year of extensive hands-on experience with .Net/C# - Proficient in enterprise architecture, web services, and/or internet security. - Understand software development life cycle - Must work well in team environment - Strong verbal and written communications skills. - Capable of working directly with business clients. - Computer Science/Engineering degree preferred. - Application development in Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/Vista, SQL Server 2000/2003 and Visual Studio.NET environment.
