Job Description:
System Administrator will be responsible for
creating/maintaining/repurposing virtual and standard Project environment
IBM blade Center JS21/JS22/Power7 hardware, cabling, labeling, SAN disk
subsystem setup, network setup, troubleshooting and AIX, 3rd party Vendor SW
and proprietary SW installs/upgrades. Candidate will work as an effective
project team member with other members of the B/I unit to
track/execute/deliver on time; and perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirement:
* Extensive Knowledge and experience of AIX VIOS / LPAR
installation/configuration/maintenance, AIX administration including
operating system installation on different hardware platforms (p630,
Bladecenter JS21/JS22/Power 7), boot codes/strapping. Disk subsystem
DS4700/DS3400/DS3500
* Solid understanding of deploying real-time applications in a High
Availability application & Architecture
* Experience in an SCP environment is a plus
* Knowledge and Experience in Kornshell and Perl
* Experience with TCP/IP networking, T1, E1 & SS7 signalling.
* Experience in Tivoli, SMIT ODM
* Experience in Microsoft office tools including Excel and Powerpoint
* Prior ISCP experience extremely helpful & desirable.
