*Title*: *FIXED ASSETS ANALYST* *Location: New Gloucester, Maine* *JOB DESCRIPTION:* 1. Prepares and processes accounting transactions. 2. Reviews and/or prepares calculations, schedules and data requests related to fixed assets to meet internal and external reporting schedules. 3. Reconciles, analyzes and reviews accounting data related to fixed assets. 4. Recommends, designs or implements procedures pertinent to assignments in order to provide efficient data flow and analysis. 5. Unitizes plant additions and processes retirements. 6. Performs other duties as assigned. *SKILLS/ABILITIES:* Strong analytical skills. Financial and accounting skills. Project management skills. *EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:* 1 - 3 years experience. Advanced knowledge of applications and mainframe accounting systems is required. General knowledge of GAAP and utility industry practice. *REQUIRED EDUCATION: * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with 3 years related experience.
