*Positions: *Developers (Rate: $50.00) / Architect (Rate: $65.00) *Desired Start Date:* 9/27/2010 *Anticipated Duration:* 6-9 months *Technical Requirements:* - Experienced Java Developer with strong logical and technical design, and development skills. - Experience working with Spring architecture, Java, and SQL Server. - Background in using Spring Framework tools such as Spring Roo and/or Grails. - Experience working in development, cycle, and production environment structure for client server and/or distributed applications. - Strong understanding of Java best practices, system scalability, and performance tuning. *Required Skills:* · Experience using Spring Framework tools such as Spring Roo or Grails · Experience using Tomcat and/or Jetty application servers · Experience in JSP/Servlet, HTML, and scripting development for web applications · Strong database understanding using SQL Server · Experience in logical and technical design · Experience in technology integration · Experience using third-party add-ons and/or add-on development · Deep knowledge of object oriented programming and software development life cycle *Preferred Skills:* · Background in Hibernate · Background using Apache Maven · Experience working with JUnits for test case generation *Other Requirements:* - Person must be able to work in collaboration with a small group with little direction in a fast paced project environment. - Must be a solution provider as this person will be responsible for delivery of successful Java applications utilized by business and IT users. - Must have excellent communication and documentation skills and be able to interact with individuals at the user, IT lead, director, and enterprise architecture level. - Must be able to deliver work under scheduled deadlines. *Deliverables:* - Logical and technical design of application based on customer functional and non-functional business requirements. - Development and unit/system/integration testing of application for implementation. - Work closely with project team to develop a solution that complies with HCSC standards. - Troubleshoot issues and provide support for implemented solution. - Documentation of all delivered and utilized logic for support team transition.
