Description: Location: Johnston, Rhode Island Duration: 6 month with likely extensions Rate: Max $48/hr on C2C Requirement: Skills Needed: SQL, Test Planning, and Execution, WebServices testing, Data load and integration testing, web application testing, Automation experience with QTP * Client is ramping up for a large 4.0application development initiative to rewrite an existing application to the.NET 4.0 Framework. They are completing the business requirements phase and are in need of a contract QA Analyst. * Development environment is .NET 3.5/4.0,SharePoint, Web Services, SQL/Server, SQL Queries, and NUNIT. Candidates will need to have experience testing in this environment. * Skills Needed: SQL, Test planning and Execution, Web Services testing, Data load and integration testing, web application testing. Automation experience with QTP. * Ability to identify detail business design requirements which need to be tested and determine what constitutes appropriate test for each and every requirement. * Identify requirements that need clarification in order to develop an appropriate test. * Skills to develop and maintain specific test cases (i.e. test data, test processes, and test results) for integration testing, system testing, conversion testing, and regression testing. * Ability to participate in code reviews to clarify requirements, validate test cases, and provide feedback to the development team.
