Location: Chicago
Duration: 6 Plus Months

Key Position Statistics

· 3-5+ years experience in graphic design, production and front-end
development
· College degree in Interaction or Interface design, or comparable
professional experience required.
· Strong proficiency with wide range of graphics/web/multimedia applications
· Expert HTML skills, excellent knowledge of JavaScript and cascading style
sheets for rapid prototyping purposes, knowledge of Internet, Internet
Technologies, web development, production and UI issues
· Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Axure widget libraries
· Knowledge of YUI, Ext JS or Google Web Toolkit
· Strong visual design sense; familiarity with branding guidelines
· Familiarity with usability testing methodology



Knowledge and Skills Requirements

· Self-managing; ability to define tasks, effectively manage
workstreams/workloads, deliver in a timely manner
· Detail-oriented, strong analytical skills
· Strong understanding of database technologies, technical architecture and
front-end code
· Ability to translate business requirements and CE wireframes into final
prototype screens
· Ability to develop and translate design guidelines and standards
· Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical
challenges and concepts
· In-depth knowledge of user/customer-centered design and development
approaches
