Requirement: *Oracle DBA* Location: NJ Duration: Long Term *Oracle DBA* o Certified at least in Oracle 10g and with extensive Oracle 11g experience. o Minimum of 3 years of experience in the installation, configuration, and performance tuning of Oracle 8i or higher Enterprise Relational Database Management Systems o Minimum of 3 years of experience in interpreting logical designs and creation and/or modification of physical table spaces, indexes and tables o Minimum of 3 years of experience in using Structured Query Language (SQL), Procedure Language/SQL (PL/SQL), and system utilities to configure security features, load/unload data tables from external data sources, clean erroneous data, and to print hardcopy contents of tables and flat files. o Minimum experience of 1 year of architecting IT system development for governmental, public utility, or similar applications o Should be able to build database schemes, tables, procedures and permissions o Analyze and sustain capacity and performance requirements o Analyze, consolidate and tune database for optimal efficiency o Monitor systems and platforms for availability o Oversee backup, clustering, mirroring, replication and failover o Restore and recover corrupted databases o Install and test upgrades and patches o Implement security and encryption *Thanks Sachin Jani * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "KNOW.IT" group.
