The interview will be hands on.



The Enterprising Testing Services Team (ETST), a member of the Technology
Infrastructure Operations (TIO) division of Fannie Mae is currently in
need/search of a qualified candidate to join our team in the role of “Test
Lab Support Analyst.� This individual/role will be primarily responsible
for providing enterprise wide support for the formal Test Lab Process
through which all third-party software and products must pass before being
added to the official “approved� list and therefore eligible for use
within the company. The specific responsibilities include providing
day-to-day support for internal customers, managing the daily operations of
the test labs, troubleshooting issues and training users on best practices.
The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled, professional, motivated,
proactive individual with a passion for problem solving and making things
efficient.

Education:
o Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent required

Minimum Experience:
o 3-5 years or equivalent experience required

Job Requirements:
o Ability to engage with internal customers and provide high-quality support
o Must be able to provide strong verbal & written communications to all
levels of support staff and management
o Strong organization, time management and presentation skills
o Demonstrated ability to work productively to manage problems
o Ability to support multiple tasks simultaneously
o Capable of generating monthly metric reports
o Understanding and experience in supporting and managing test activities &
issues during the testing lifecycle
o Experience working with IT teams to gather and document test requirements
o Accurately scope required resources and estimate level of effort for
assigned tests
o Proficiency in standard suite of office productivity tools like Microsoft
Office products, web browsers and file systems
o Advanced usage experience in Microsoft Access, PowerPoint & Excel

“Nice to Have�:

o Understanding of Unix & Windows operating systems
o Working knowledge of SharePoint, Lotus Notes
o Infrastructure Project Management experience
o Experience working for large corporation in a software testing and/or quality
assurance role (preferably at the enterprise level)
o Hands on experience in full development lifecycle implementation, and
execution activities
o Knowledge of test/defect tracking tools such as HP Quality Center or
problem/incident management tools such as BMC Remedy

- After review of candidates resume it appears as though they are not a good
fit for the position we are hiring for as they appear to be strong in manual
testing and not in test facilitation.



- Candidate is interested more in remaining hands-on technical where as this
position requires more management and facilitation.
