Responsible for coordinating Development and testing of IBM COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JAVA applications for the US Airways Revenue Accounting IT Team. Responsible for application delivery and compliance for assigned customer group. Interfaces with vendors, customers, and other team members. *Assignment duration:* 4 months Contract ** *Location:* Tempe,AZ *Required qualifications:* - Coordinates all development and testing for a team of 8 IBM/DB2/CICS Developers. - Will act as the technical point of contact for the Revenue Accounting IT Development Team. Provides leadership in assuring complete and thorough development testing results to meet customer expectations. Works with the Business Analyst, the Developers, and the customers to assure thorough testing is performed, documented and meets all audit requirements. - Works with the Business Analyst to develop new development and testing guidelines and procedures for all Revenue Accounting applications. - Works with the Business Analyst to ensure all SOX and PCI compliancy application documentation is complete and audit worthy. - Seeks and develop new team development and testing tools and techniques to speed up and improve the lifecycle where appropriate. - Develops and maintains good working relationships with management and staff in various areas of IT - Participates in strategy planning, development methodologies, and testing process refinement and organizational development activities department wide. - Oversees and performs system documentation and flow-charting of existing and new applications. - Confers with and advises team members on development and testing policies and procedures. - Leads (from a technical perspective) development and testing resources, documentation and tools to ensure objectives are met on time and within budget, completing required objectives within aggressive timelines. - Performs training and consulting for development and testing methodology and tools to other team developers. *Essential Qualifications:* - Undergraduate degree in CIS/MIS/CE or equivalent experience/training - 8+ years hands-on IT Mainframe/Legacy development experience. - 6+ years proven Q/A experience - Strong background in various testing (Unit, System, Integration, Regression, UAT, Parallel). - Experience working with a variety of technologies including COBOL/CICS/DB2/JAVA/SAS. - Experience with utilizing Agile methodology practices in a Legacy environment. - Experience meeting SOX and PCI compliancy rules. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent Customer Service and Airline experience a plus Warm regards, Ashish Mohanty Computech Corporation | 30700 Telegraph Road, Suite 4555| Bingham Farms| Michigan 48025 *Ph:* (630)-296-8724, *EXT* - 724 |*Fax:* 248-712-0930| *Email:* [email protected] | www.computechcorp.com | -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "KNOW.IT" group.
