User Interface Location: Minneapolis, MN Terms: Direct hire Duration: 8+ Months Job Responsibilities: * Responsible for creative design and concept of websites. * Applies application/industry knowledge to develop functional solutions and prepares functional design specifications. * Participates in, and leads, workshops to complete process analysis and design review. * Provides expertise on current product functions and serves as a resource on future product direction. * Identifies and clarifies product and regulatory requirements. * Works on more complex designs where analysis requires in in-depth evaluation of various factors. * Creates and maintains product roadmap which outlines planned releases and their content. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor of Science or a degree in Human Computer Interface (HCI) and / or equivalent work experience. * 5+ years as a web designer / developer. * Experience in Web 2.0, Social Media, and Interactive Web Design. * Experience with Microsoft's Silverlight is highly desired. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proven analytical skills, problem-solving ability and decision-making. * Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. * Strong knowledge of structured analysis and design techniques. * Demonstrated technical tool/technique experience in the preferred platform. * Strong business and technical vision. * Proven results oriented person with a delivery focus. * Solid organizational skills. * Solid technical writing ability. * Travel Required: up to 25%.
