Subject: Java Requirement
this is a long term requirement
Location : Dearborn, MI
Duration : 12 to 24 months
Note: Face to face interview after an initial telephonic round.
Position Description:
1. Assist with the development, enhancement, maintenance and support
of the existing J2EE messaging applications XNET/ICE, Credit web,
dealer toolbar and any new J2EE dealer facing applications.
2. Work with business customers (very limited) to clarify business
requirements.
3. Provide analysis support for load testing as needed
4. Participate in code reviews
5. Work with various IT teams (DBA's, Mainframe, WebLogic Services,
Build Team, ATD Frameworks, etc) as needed.
6. Provide Duty Analyst support 24x7 on a rotating basis.
IMPORTANT:
1. J2EE, XML, Web Services
2. Server-side development.
3. 3+ years Web Services (Soap & XML) based experience.
4. 3+ years server-side J2EE development experience
Skills Required:
1. Technical skills (7+ years) in the areas of J2EE, XML, Web
Services, DB2, SQL, Weblogic, and server-side development.
2. Working knowledge of J2EE Patterns, object oriented analysis, and
systems development methodology(USDM)
3. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
4. Technical Leadership capabilities
5. Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills required
to maintain good working partnerships with IT and business units
6. Highly motivated professional(self-starter and results oriented)
Skills Preferred:
1. Experience with PVCS or some source code management tool
2. Experience with Java-based IDE - Eclipse preferred
3. Experience with LoadRunner testing a plus
4. Experience with Velocity
5. Experience with LINUX and Window Operating Systems
6. Experience with SQLJ/ DB2Connect
7. Implemented digital signatures as a method of authentication and or
authorization
8. Demonstrated commitment to quality and project timing
9. Ability to work in a small team and perform many tasks simultaneously.
Experience Required:
1. 3+ years Web Services (Soap & XML) based experience.
2. 3+ years server-side J2EE development experience
Experience Preferred:
1. 3+ years Velocity experience
2. 3+ years Weblogic JMS Queues
3. 3+ years experience with building high-volume, mission critical
applications
