Interfaces with internal customers to gather requirements and provide recommendations on complex technical tasks. 2. Independently performs analysis to develop high level designs for assigned projects. 3. Prepares a work effort estimate for high-level designs and coding 4. Reviews the low-level designs and code developed by the off-shore vendor 5. Provides technical consulting/oversight throughout the development and operations life cycle Candidate must possess strong leadership and communication skills - and skills in the following core technologies: Java/J2EE, XML, SQL, Oracle, Web Services (SOAP and Restful), Clearcase, WebSphere, Tomcat, Struts, Java development skills in servlets and JSP's using IBM's WSAD and Websphere interfacing with an Oracle back-end database. Coherence experience is a plus. Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a cooperative team environment. Ability to provide both detail information and also summarize to a management level. Ability to work through complex problems and reach a workable solution. Ability to understand and work with large complex systems. Ability to work in ambiguous situations.
