Local Candidates are highly preferred Job Description * Serve as Sr. Software Developer & Tech Lead for Web/J2EE development projects, using open-source tools and frameworks (JBoss, Tapestry, Hibernate) and MSSQL Server. * Perform systems analysis and design duties. * Act as a J2EE/OOAD mentor to other employees * Perform research and analysis on current and prospective tools and technologies. Minimum Qualifications: * This position requires demonstrable skills and knowledge commensurate with the role of Sr. J2EE Software Development and Technical Lead (typically 5+ years of relevant experience) in the following areas: * Relevant experience in Java and/or J2EE development and related object oriented software design techniques design and architectural patterns and methodologies. Leadership, supervision and mentorship as needed to direct the work of other employees and manage to timelines. * Working knowledge of Open-source frameworks and tools, such as JBoss, Tapestry (or some other MVC framework such as Spring), Hibernate. * Knowledge of and experience with web design and development, including aspects such as HTML, XML, Cascading Style Sheets, web standards, Internet protocols, web graphics formats, source control management systems such as Clear Case, and consideration of cross-platform compatibility issues. Relational database concepts, structure. Preferred Qualifications: * 7+ years Java/J2EE development experience * 2+ years of experience in a service oriented field * Bachelor's degree in information technology or other related field or relevant certifications. * Jboss Configuration experience * Working knowledge of Service Orientated Architecture.
