Location: Carmel, IN Duration: 6-12 months Rate: Open Job Summary: Responsible for the vision that underlies IT solutions and the execution of that vision into the solution. *Engage in a solution as the functional requirements are being collected, and will remain involved throughout the balance of the project.* Provide motivation, guidance and reinforcement for the Development teams. * * * Responsibilities/Duties: * 1. Demonstrated ability to plan, prototype and build the technical architecture for the proposed solution. 2. Ability to communicate vision to create consensus around the proposed Architecture. 3. Coordinate and create design patterns, identify, research, prototyping, recommend and proof of concept of new and pre-existing design patterns. 4. Provide the conversion of requirements into an architecture and design that will become the blueprint for the solution being created. 6. Define and create a well-organized architecture that will promote reliability and ease of maintenance. 9. Provide guidance to develop teams in unit testing and code quality practices relative to the proposed situation. 10. Practice and promote teamwork at all times. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance. 11. Monitor all area related conditions, property and equipment within corporate standards for cleanliness, proper maintenance and safety. Advise Facilities of all breakdowns and maintenance immediately. 12. Report all incidents immediately. Practice and instruct all employees in proper loss prevention and reaction procedures. Report all incidents properly and immediately. *Educational Requirements and Skills Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Total of (ten) 10+ years in IT development with seven (7) years of experience in Software analysis, design, development, and testing, and three (3) years of experience in database design/SQL. Experience in aspects of SDLC, design, development, change management, and QA. Experience in programming language/technologies including but not limited to .NET, Java, and SQL, along with the understanding of use of 3rd party-supplied APIs to design integration solutions.
