Thanks!* * Location:* **CO USA * The Business Objects Reports Designer/Developer will be responsible for: • Developing detailed reports using Business Objects • Developing BI / data warehouse logical and physical data models • Collaborating with business users, analysts, developers, and testers • Solving complex problems, assimilating information rapidly, and working under pressure • Designing and developing Business Objects Universes. Requires thorough knowledge of the Business Objects Universe Designer application (Version XIR3). • Working with business users and analysts to ensure that the BI environment supports business requirements. • Working with ETL Developers to design and develop solutions to meet business requirements • Creating complex Web Intelligence reports (using WEBI and Xcelsius) requiring multiple data providers. • Creating detailed and accurate project documentation, metadata. • Testing and QA of the Business Objects deployments. • Assisting the end users with Business Objects. Required Skills: Business Objects Designer/Developer with 5 years related experience. Specific experience includes: • Knowledge of BI and Data Warehousing concepts, approaches, and tools. • Practical experience and knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse Principals. • Extensive experience in Business Objects report development using Master Detail, Slice and Dice, Drilling methodology, Filters, Ranking, Sections, Graphs, and Breaks. • Experience designing BI / data warehouse logical and physical data models. • Experience working in an Oracle environment. • BA/BS degree in a computer discipline, or equivalent applicable experience. • Demonstrated hands-on experience in using Business Objects products (XIR3). • 2+ years in the following tools: o Universe Designer o Web Intelligence XI 3.1 • Proficient in writing SQL queries and query performance tuning (3+ years). • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, within a team. • Excellent written & verbal communications skills. -- Thanks & Regards, Dan TGGS Inc Block D,Suite # 301,1110 Elden Street,Herndon,VA,20190 [email protected] <[email protected]> | Ph: 757-803-9120 | www.tggsinc.com *NOTE*: We respect your privacy.
