Job Description: We have some new projects coming where we need Websphere Portal Architects (not on the infrastructure side) and Sr. level Portal Developers. This is for our national practice so the ability to go anywhere and potentially travel is required. Please let me know if you can help Required skills: * Architect highly-available and scalable WebSphere Portal 6.0/6.1 systems * Knowledge of unique aspects of release management and automation with respect to Portal * Experience in IBM Websphere Portal v6.x design and development including developing JSR 168/286 Portlets, WSRP, JSPs and Servlets, SOAP-based Web Services, RAD, Portlet Factory and/or Eclipse IDE * Strong knowledge of WebSphere Portal components, services and frameworks (WCM, PDM, WMM/PUMA, Personalization, Themes/Skins, Portlet Wiring, Access Control, etc.) * Strong experience in Java/J2EE enterprise level application design and development * Knowledge of various methods to integrate existing applications into portal * Use of multiple virtual portals * Experience with IBM Web Content Management * Performance testing and tuning of Portal * Linux or Unix (Solaris, AIX, etc) * Excellent documentation and communication skills * Masters degree in CIS or equivalent level of industry experience * Ability to travel to client sites on a Monday - Friday basis Nice to have skills: * Experience with WebSphere Portal 6.1 and JSR 286 is preferred * Experience integrating WebSphere Portal with enterprise security systems such as Tivoli Access Manager, CA Siteminder, etc. * TIM/TAM experience * Lotus Connections Kindly provide the following details for quick process: Full Name: Contact: Email: Current Location ( City & State ): Visa Status: Availability: SSN # (Last 4-digits): Best hourly rate: Two Professional References: Rek 2 We are currently looking for "Oracle Apps (Mfg) Functional with Oracle Quality experience (MUST)".
