Good hands on experience in tuning the sql queries, debugging queries to tune Able to analyze and tune the queries using Explain plan and should be able to suggest DBA's what you require to tune your program or queries. Working with Indexes, Joins, Analytic functions in Oracle Understanding of the Data models and hands - on good to have Good hands on creating Cognos Packages, Security (Package, Object and Data level). Security using LDAP. Able to design complex Cognos reports Usage of most of the Cognos functionalities like, render variables, conditional blocks, prompts, parameters, linking etc.,. Hands on bursting functionality of the Cognos reports. Good hands on Scheduling the reports Working knowledge on Reports Studio, Query Studio, and Framework Manager.
