ROLE: COBOL / IDMS Programmer (Interfaces)
Location : Sacramento, CA
Duration : 2 years
We are looking for a COBOL/IDMS expert to lead mainframe interface development. The candidate must have significant experience in the technical design and development of mainframe interfaces.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Gather interface requirements, create detailed interface design documents
• Perform technical analysis of client's existing mainframe system and interfaces
• Communicate progress/issues to the technical lead
REQUIREMENTS:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Four (4) or more years of progressive technical experience in design and development of mainframe interfaces
• In-depth knowledge and experience in COBOL, IDMS and CICS
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server is desired
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in coordinating with multiple teams
