Web Designer Duration - 6 months Location - Mount Laurel, NJ
Project This individual will work as part of an application design team to design solutions to meet business needs using in house and vendor provided software. Tasks This resource will be responsible for completing critical system analysis and functional design of systems, sub systems, and components. Candidate will be responsible for technical aspects of enhancements and integration with external/internal sub-systems. Candidate will regularly interface with the enterprise architecture, chief architects, functional architects and other functional areas to ensure the most efficient solution is designed to meet the ongoing business needs. Interacts with Architects and Business Owners to gather and analyze requirements Creates end-to-end system designs that meet business requirements. Creates use case documents Documents messaging flows between various systems and services. Support defect analysis and resolution during Quality Assurance test cycle. Participates in writing and executing unit, integration, and system test procedures. Participates in team meetings to discuss approaches to current projects. Complies with all established procedures and policies of Client. Other functions that may be assigned. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance Requirements BS/MS in Computer Science/ Engineering, or equivalent work experience in interface design and implementation At least 7 Years of Experience in business analysis/software design, system flows. Knowledgeable about software development in a SOA environment. Familiarity with major web servers (apache, iplanet, etc..) and J2EE application servers (Weblogic, Websphere.JBOSS,etc..) Experience with VoIP and Soft Switch technologies. Experience with cable TV/video technologies desirable. At least7 years experience designing Web Service applications using WSDL/SOAP and XML Experience performing design and analysis in support of large-scale custom development efforts in business critical systems Creative Thinker Commitment to consistency, precision and usefulness of generated documentation Able to remember, synthesize and recall large quantities of detail Able to identify and evaluate and recommend architectural and design patterns Able to create design documentation communicating complex features and relationships Strong working knowledge of the following technologies / products / methodologies: OO modeling using UML WSDL and XML Schemas Visio or other diagramming tool Linux, Solaris, and Windows application design TCP/IP and networking technologies and protocols -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "KNOW.IT" group.
