The candidate will develop new system features on a JAVA based real-time PL application and will be responsible for proactively improving and maintaining the system. When new functionality is requested, the role will include business analysis and will involve speaking with other teams/developers to source data/information. In addition, the candidate will provide application support to users and perform troubleshooting. Skills Required Server side Java skills covering core libraries, networking, databases and threading Knowledge of DB2 and Sybase and strong SQL skills Proven experience with Perl and UNIX development Good analytical and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication skills - the job entails communicating directly with the business.
