Job Description (Please describer in around 4-5 Lines): Responsible for technical delivery of all activities necessary for a given application area within the program product. Ensures the quality of all necessary activities/deliverables in the architecture, requirements, design, software development and testing are performed as necessary for a given application area. Responsible for detail and peer review of all deliverables produced in the software development life cycle within an application area and ensures quality issues are identified, tracked and resolved. Works with the architecture team to address key design and coding issues as they arise. Works with all team members across disciplines within an application area to facilitate good team work and collaboration within an application area team. Ensures critical escalated technical issues for an application area are addressed and resolved as necessary by key ATT executives, stakeholders, platform vendors, OEMs and other 3rd party software partners as it relates to an application area. Ensures appropriate communication between program teams and with key AT&T executives and key stakeholders for all application area technical issues. Ensures application is delivered on time and meets requirementsShould have sound knowledge in UMTS layer and associated supplementary services. Should have been involved in Mobile phone development and worked in Telephony layer; preferably UMTS network.Must have knowledge in 3GPP specification pertaining to telephony layer and must have implementation experience in Call Manager/Supplementary services. Knowledge on AT&T network is added advantage. 2. Full Project description (different from point 1): *Mobile Product Development*. 3. Skill set required: • At least 8+ years of experience developing real time *embedded systems in mobile domain, strong in C, C*++. • Excellent hands on designing experience in Embedded, Mobile development on different mobile platforms like Brew, BMP, Android, Win Mobile • Sound knowledge in UMTS, 3G spec and telephony layer • Architect and design from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex software. • Should be able to technically drive the team. • Good analytical,written and verbal communication skills. • Can adapt to fast learning curve and also mentor the team under in fast track. • Contribution in design and reviews. • Effectively interacts with customer. • Experience in BSP development and board bring and core mobile applications like Messaging, Phonebook, Multimedia, Calling, and Connectivity on different mobile platforms would be an added advantage. • Experience in full product Design life cycle would be an added advantage.
