Req Details:
Major Purpose of Job: To design, develop, test, implement, document and
support software applications for the SharePoint platform (MOSS 2007/2010)
and outline scope of ongoing support and training for the various sites
created.
Essential Job Functions:
· Assess current SharePoint sites and refine collaboration strategies for
the business unit·
Determine ownership and accountability roles and define how to manage and
support sites·
Identify areas of concern, such as planning growth, security issues and
ongoing IT and administrative support·
Mentor and provide high level training to users· Understanding of software
development life cycle process·
Experience with Visual Studio 2005\2008 is required·
Experience with MOSS 2007\2010 sites
· Experience with SharePoint Designer 2007\2010·
Ability to provide strategic guidance on best practices for utilizing
functionality within SharePoint·
Experience with InfoPath 2007· Working Knowledge on SharePoint\Visual studio
workflows·
Experience using and developing custom web parts·
Troubleshooting and issue-resolving skills·
Experience working with end users and managing requirements·
Ability to independently troubleshoot and research challenging problems
Requirements: Skill Requirements·
5-7+ year's technical SharePoint \ Dot Net experience ·
Proficient in SharePoint \ Dot Net methodologies and Standards·
Working experience with SharePoint designer·
Proficient in Web Parts, InfoPath Forms and other SharePoint customizations
·
Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities and
follow through on tasks ·
Proficient with Windows Server 2003\2008·
Experience programming SQL Server would be a plus·
Solid knowledge on Java Script ·
Knowledge of Power shell scripts is a plus
