Supervises and leads a team of 4 to 6 Software Engineers. -Responsible for activities of the team including task assignment, priority, and status reporting. -Responsible for the knowledge transfer and mentoring progress of team members. -Approves / monitors time-off schedules for team member before sending to Manager. Qualifications: -9 + years of hands-on related Software Development experience. -Lead experience with strong experience designing web application interfaces. -4 + years of experience extending and creating Flex components, familiarity with exporting component libraries, and working on a modular application. -4 + years of experience coding / designing applications that use the AMF protocol. -5 to 7 years of experience generating imagery with Photoshop / Fireworks for web applications. -3+ years of experience working with JAVA backed applications. -Extensive knowledge of BlazeDS, and AMF3. -Strong familiarity with Tomcat and Linux Servers. -Strong experience in at least one or more modern MVC Web Application Frameworks. -Proficiency with Object-Oriented design Methodology and multi-tier architecture. -ActionScript 3 as a second language. -Team oriented, works well in a fast-paced environment. -Ability to work with varied stakeholders to solidify design and meet dead-lines. -Desire to engage in extremely challenging assignments.
