Title – JAVA Developer Duration – Full Time Location - Cedar Rapids, IA Responsibilities:- Develops specifications for new and existing systems. Will deal with clients to determine needs and requirements. Will provide training to co-workers, and prepare presentations. Provides direction on projects and requires minimal supervision. •Develops specifications for new and existing systems. •Designs, codes, tests, and documents programs and sub-systems. •Designs systems, sub-systems or program. Coordinates with co- workers, clients, operations, technical support, and vendors. Interfaces with clients to determine requirements, resolve problems, and perform testing. •Analyzes system and program requirements. Solves problems with systems and programs. Performs training services. Prepares presentations. Provides direction on projects and requires minimal supervision. •Demonstrates a clear understanding of software development. •Demonstrates an "above average" understanding of software development and research tools. •Ability to lead analysis and design of complex and/or cross functional systems. Qualifications:- •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Additional qualifications:- •*Qualified candidate will have a minimum five years of software development experience with Oracle and JAVA based technologies. •Candidate should be proficient in JAVA/J2EE development using Eclipse based IDE like RAD; and deploying applications on Web sphere Application Server. •Fundamental knowledge and hands-on work experience with relational databases, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle tools like SQL*Loader are required. •In addition, candidate should have used open source frame work like STRUTS, hibernate and Junit. •Candidate also should have sound understanding of UML modeling practices. •To refer to requirements and resolve defects, candidate should be able to work with Rational tools like ReqPro and Clear Quest. •Candidate should have used at least one code metric tool like Check style. •Knowledge and expertise in integration technologies like JCAPS/ Seebeyond, CTG, and MQSeries will be a plus. Familiarity with COBOL and mainframe environments is also a plus.
