*Sr WEB DEVELOPER * *Location Minneapolis , MN * *Duration: 6+ Months* *RESPONSIBILITES:** *1. Ensures that web architecture is consistent, scalable, and standard a. Participates on IS&T architectural counsels to develop and oversee application and infrastructure standards. b. Develops and maintains standards for web design and development. c. Establishes a web framework and assesses potential deviations from that framework. d. Partners with Security Management to ensure the appropriate security foundation supports the web infrastructure and design. e. Partners with Network Architecture to ensure the integrity of Web Functionality. f. Partners with Technical Services to develop, analyze, assess, and measure capacity, availability, and the effectiveness of Web functionality. g. Assesses and evaluates the effectiveness and availability of Web Functions. h. Ensures integrated web functionality; utilizing capacity and availability management to promote web optimization. i. Develops and maintains web architectural documents. 2. Consults on all web initiatives a. Consults with IS&T Senior Leadership, IS&T Application Groups, and Business owners regarding web initiatives. b. Provides input and subject matter expertise to IS&T WEB development teams and the Business Owners. 3. Ensures that web development adheres to architectural strategies. a. Participates in requirements, design and code reviews for web applications. Mentors Web Developers; educating staff regarding web developing, continuity, and consistency.
