Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated OBIEE Architect who will be our key go to person for the implementation of complex Oracle BI solutions. The ideal person will have deep and extensive knowledge of the Oracle OBIEE and OBIA technology stack, however highly motivated candidates who have good experience with either OBIEE and/or OBIA and are willing to learn and develop their skills will also be considered. The individual will serve as a subject matter expert on OBIEE+, demonstrating expertise in Oracle BI Server, Oracle BI Answers, Oracle BI Interactive Dashboard, Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle BI Scheduler etc. Responsibilities: - Assess client BI requirements and develop recommendations, strategy, roadmap for implementation of BI solutions - Serve as the BI lead and advise the client in appropriate design approaches for building an enterprise BI solution including dashboards, analytics and reporting - Understand the overall data management needs and recommend MDM solutions if appropriate - Be able to conduct PoC's to meet requirements - Clearly understand the technology requirements and recommend the best design and architecture using OBIEE - Be the PM and/or work with the PM to define the tasks and plan for the project and determine the most effective allocation of resources - Be able to install, configure and administer the OBIEE platform - Develop the detail data architecture, models, ETL and data quality specifications, reports and dashboards - Work closely with client personnel to ensure that the project requirements are being met and make course corrections as required while keeping within planned budgets Qualifications: -Experience in implementation of the Enterprise Data warehouse & BI solutions -Experience in Data Modeling, Extract Transform and Load (ETL) into OBIEE using Informatica and ODI, and Siebel Application. -Data warehouse and Business Intelligence Solution Architect with extensive experience in implementing Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) custom data warehouse solutions and pre-built BI analytics. - Preferable - knowledge of OBIA -Strong technical understanding of data modeling, design and architecture principles and techniques across master data, transaction data and derived/analytic data (e.g., KPIs), data storage/management technologies for both OLTP and DW solutions. -Expert knowledge on ETL using Informatica, dimensional modeling, Data Marts, KPIs and Dashboards. -Experience in Data Scrubbing, cleansing, parallel loading, extraction, transformation and uploading using Informatica, ODI, PL/SQL, SQL*Loader, partitioned database, database tuning in OBIEE environment. -Consulting background preferred -Excellent customer support skills -Good verbal and written communication skills -Dependable and self motivated -Bachelors and/or a Masters Degree or equivalent We want to talk to a few 'qualified' candidates before making the decision.
