Job summary:
The Web Developer will be responsible for helping design, develop and
enhance object-oriented, multi-tiered web application.
An understanding of object oriented programming and web technologies is a
must.
They must have in-depth knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, XML, Web Services, WCF,
WPF, SQL Server, CSS, JavaScript, XHTML, AJAX and W3C Web Standards.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Develop static and dynamic web pages for HSI's worldwide companies and
divisions in multiple languages and currencies, utilizing ASP.NET, C#, XML,
Web Services, WCF, WPF, SQL Server, CSS, JavaScript, XHTML, AJAX, W3C Web
Standards and Commerce Server.
Design, program, test and implement modifications to application software
according to departmental standards.
Estimates work effort and impact of modifications. Responsible for code
optimization, standardization and overall development.
Participate in application design and creates technical specifications for
components of the application.
Prepares time schedules for the coding and implementation of new systems.
Keep current with new technologies in order to use the new features where
appropriate.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required. In
addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all
positions are also responsible for:
Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work
performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner
that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including
WorldWide Business Standards.
Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards
of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
Qualifications Experience: 5+ years experience in developing web based
business to business or business to customer E-commerce systems.
Proficient in ASP.NET, C#, XML, Web Services, WCF, WPF, SQL Server, CSS,
JavaScript, XHTML, AJAX and W3C Standards.

4 year degree and 10+ years experience or equivalent combination of
education and experience
- MUST HAVE excellent communication and WCF services skills
- MUST HAVE experience with MVC framework and MVC design patterns
- Acts in the highest level technical role as an individual contributor
and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications and/or
application initiatives
- Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and
existing designs - Works on the most complex problems where analysis of
situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors -
Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation point for the most complex
platform designs, coding, and testing - Leads most complex multiple
modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts - Acts as expert technical
resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and
implementation process - Senior level heads down Developer with solid
experience in application design, and development of thin client customer
facing Microsoft technologies based applications
- Experience in Relational Database design, including data models, stored
procedures, SSIS packages, etc - Use and software manipulation of XML data
and XML metadata
- Object oriented design methods, patterns, UML, Use Cases - Knowledge and
experienced in creating detailed design artifacts
- Candidate should be able to work independently on multiple projects with
aggressive deadlines - Development/Coding Required technical skills - Visual
Studio 2008, C#.NET 3.0/3.5, ASP.NET 3.0/3.5, ASP.NET AJAX, LINQ, Windows
Presentation Foundation (WPF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
