Position : Sr Perl Developer Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 6+ month contract
Project Description:
* Developer for BETA to BPS conversion with Equity Product knowledge and
BPSA (client*s Equity Trading System) Implementation & Conversion
* Define the develop the overall ITEC Conversion strategy between the
client*s Back Office system (BETA) to Broadridge * BPSA
* Define and Develop technical specifications for the following phases
in the Conversion stream
* BETA de-conversion and Broadridge on-boarding of Stock record,
Positions, Pending Settlements, bookkeeping etc.
Required Skills:
* Perl development
* MS SQL Server stored procedures
* Strong SQL
* Testing tools
* Quality Center
* File parsing using Perl or other tools, file conversion
Business Knowledge (not mandatory but preferred
* Broadridge (BPS) set-up (systems, data structure, processes, batch
management, etc*)
* US Broker-Dealer environment (clearing & settlement, compliance, etc*)
for Fixed Income products
* Fixed Income Products (product knowledge on Equity side is a plus)
* Knowledge of trading and brokerage operations * front to back
