*Job Title :  Project Manager with insurance (P&C) and/or Financial services
industry
Location :  Sun Prairie, WI
Duration :  9-18 Months Contract*

Project Management Skills
•Experience and thorough understanding of the PMI-based Project Management
Life Cycle and Project Framework
•Ability to put structure and governance around project already in planning
phase
•Lead project team to deliver business and technical objectives on-time,
within budget and to specification
•Create MS Project schedule using Dynamic Scheduling, and utilize the
schedule to communicate and manage the work.
•Report status, issues and risks according to PMO processes and schedule
•Prepare project for governance gate approvals.
•Demonstrated experience in managing projects in risk and dependency rich
environment

Professional Background
• Experience in delivering business solutions from concept to documentation,
as well as gap analysis
• Have worked in medium to large corporate environments, insurance (P&C)
and/or financial services industry preferred
• Experience with the SDLC, familiarity with waterfall methods not required
but strongly preferred
• Experience with transformational frameworks business process
re-engineering (BPR) not required but preferred
• Background in business analysis strongly preferred
• Minimum 3 years Project Management experience in insurance underwriting or
new business preferred
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely basis with minimal supervision and
to provide timely and accurate status to management
• Exceptional listening and written communication skills with the ability to
accurately describe the business and functional requirements for solutions

Personal Skills
*Comfortable relaying project details to “C” level senior management
*Engage directly with internal business clients to understand their business
objectives and translate them into delivery plans.
*Collaborate with other project and program managers to manage project
interdependencies.
*Establish positive working relationships with customers, stakeholders and
team members.
*Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts, address issues and conduct pro’s
and con’s evaluations toward resolution
*Develop and gain agreement with stakeholders on project plans and budgets.
*Possess excellent communication skills; personal, written and presentation
