Tech Lead Java/J2EE/SOA/webservices - Banking Preferred
Location: Jersey City, NJ and/or New York City, NY or Central New Jersey Position: Contract, 6-12 months Excellent Rates Technical Skills (Required): *At least 12 years in total professional experience *At least 8 yrs of progressive IT experience developing, designing, architecting, managing complex Java/J2EE applications *At least 5 yrs of experience as Tech Lead/ Hands onDevelopment Manager managing development teams for a complex global financial application having multiple interfaces with various regional applications *At least 5 years IT experience within the broad Financial Services industry *At least 5 years in vendor management experience * Java/J2EE (8+ yrs) * solid understanding of SOA architecture and its principles * development experience on Java/J2EE applications (3+ yrs) * Understanding of Web Services using SOAP, XML over HTTP (5+ yrs) * Understanding of JMS technologies, IBM MQ, TIBCO or any other messaging infrastructure (4+yrs) Hands on Java and Oracle, Data Modeling, Web Applications, and JMS MessagingAbility to lead a team of 2-4 off shore/ on shore developers to complete projects in a timely manorComputer Architecture and/or Computer Science background a plusWorkflow Applications a plusThey will need to have 10+ Years exp. They will be managing IT Projects through the full Software Development and contributing where ever need be. So they have to be hands on. The projects will be in the Reference Data Space (Accounts Management, Security Product Management).
