*Duration: approximately 3-3.5 months (520 hours) with potential extension* * Must be able to pass BG check upon offer* * Scope: Cognos 8 Support* * * Candidate will interface with the business community and gather information about business goals and objectives, facts, dimensions and granularity, and assist in obtaining Customer and IT technical input to provide technology support to current Cognos 8 environments. The candidate will work closely with the user and developers to provide needed Cognos support. They will be additional resources that will assist with development tasks as work request are submitted. Requirements: Qualified candidates will possess the following knowledge and skills: • Knowledge in Cognos design and development with experience in the design and development of Framework Manager models. • Knowledge of database structures, data relationships and data design techniques as well as carry experience in SQL coding. • Expertise in the fields of metadata Model and Catalog creation, and MOLAP cube modeling, design and development. • Knowledge in areas such as SDK development. • Knowledge of report creation/modification (preferably Cognos).
