Five (5) years of mainframe data access and manipulation experience. Three (3) years of mainframe data conversion experience including data extract code design and development, data mapping and transformation analysis, data cleansing and purification experience, data load and conversion reconciliation experience. Technical skill in one (1) or more of the following: VSAM, CICS, COBOL. Ability to read different mainframe and other data formats and types such as COBOL layouts, Oracle and ADABAS data schema, EBCDIC, ASCII, etc. Ability to verbally present system and coding design techniques, and design elements for mainframe applications. Ability to design, troubleshoot and fix complex mainframe program code design, flow, logic and other issues and problems. Ability to work well under established time-lines and schedules. Capability to perform the functions described in Section 15, Scope of Work. A good working knowledge and strong technical background and experience in system analysis. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS DESIRED Technical skill in one (1) or more of the following: ADASQL, ADABAS/NATURAL, Easytrieve and JCL. Technical skill in the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) application. PROJECT SPECIFIC SKILLS DESIRED Understanding and maintenance experience with the Unemployment Insurance (UI) GUIDE benefit legacy COBOL application.
