Duration: 6 Months
*Purpose: * The Performance Test Lead is responsible for the strategy,
design, planning, reviewing and creation of automated functional and
performance tests. The Performance Test Lead will possess the necessary
skills and experience to architect and develop Performance test
infrastructure and define test development needs and procedures.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent combination work experience in a
similar function required
- *Minimum 10 years of experience as a Software QA/Test Analyst;
minimum experience of 7 years of test automation (preferably
with Quick Test
Pro (QTP)., Minimum 3 years in Management/Leadership Role. *
- Testing background and familiarity with Performance testing tools
required.
- Test tool (HP, Rational, Compuware) certification preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and experience creating SQL queries.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills to
cultivate positive working relationships.
- Ability to analyze manual testing process and assess suitability for
automation
- Understand testing methodologies
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the role
of testing and automation within the SDLC.
- Ability to analyze business and/or functional requirement documents
for testing purposes.
- Ability to estimate testing effort, analyze change requests and
initiate the scheduling of QA tasks and dependencies.
- Create System Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Data.
- Create and update test cases based on new/updated functional
requirements.
- Conduct System, Regression and Integration testing.
- Providing reporting on testing results.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability to work within a team, and if needed, independently.
