* 4+ years of performance testing experience * Advanced knowledge of LoadRunner or comparable tool * A solid technical background, including strong database, server, operating system and network skills * Prior experience testing within the following platforms: Oracle, Java, WebLogic * Understanding of Java language and ability to combine custom Java classes with LoadRunner * Understanding of Java Key Store concepts and setting up SSL and 2 Way SSL with Load Runner
* Ability to profile JVM and ability to identify classes and methods that consume most resources * Understanding of shell scripting and ability to automate tasks bash scripts - PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: * Experience with a range of performance testing tools, including LoadRunner * Experience with open-source testing - * Experience testing high-volume, customer-facing, enterprise-level solutions *Testing RMS applications *Analyze the information and make sound predictions based on collected data. We are looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer to create and execute scenario-based test plans, test cases and testing scripts for web applications, and analyze results. You will be responsible for developing performance test strategies/methodologies, scripting,effective execution of the performance strategy, troubleshooting and analysis. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable expertise with HP LoadRunner or comparable performance testing tools. Your first project will center on web-based technologies, and you will be testing a high-volume transactional application.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Create performance test plans, scripts and executes performance test scenarios
* Analyze business and functional requirements to ensure requirements are clear and testable
* Develop test plans, prepare test environment, test scenarios, data and test scripts
* Develop and maintain scalable, reusable performance test scripts using HP LoadRunner or comparable tool
* Simulate thousands of concurrent users for load scenarios to determine response times and bottlenecks
* Monitor resources and collect metrics during the tests in order to determine the impact of load/stress testing on the infrastructure
* Support and participate in performance tuning with the technology team
* End-to-end management of assigned projects. You will identify defects, assess root cause, and prepare detailed information for developers and business stakeholders
