Title: SAP ABAP Developer Location: Houston, TX Duration: 6 months Role Description: - The individual in this position will work as a member of a global team and will be working on site. A high degree of working hour flexibility along with time zone awareness and consideration for cultural differences is required - Experienced ABAP Developer (> 5 years) to participate on SAP coding efforts, including: 1. Interfaces with the process teams & development lead to understand functional requirement and finalize technical design specifications. 2. Code the solutions which consist of enhancements, reports, interfaces, data conversions. 3. This includes creation of programs in SAP's proprietary language - ABAP, configuration, QA, unit testing, creation and promotion of transports to acceptance and production, liaison with BATCH and BASIS and Process/Project teams. - Responsible for supporting integration testing, user acceptance testing, cut-over activities, and warrantee period support - Provides support to custom built applications. - Provides technical support for business critical interfaces. This includes problem resolution following operational failures of interfaces. - Reviews, Analyze and implements OSS notes. - Maintain technical design & construction documentation - Downstream SPS (SAP Programming Services) provides custom SAP development and support for SAP instances. This includes: interfaces with non-SAP applications; extensions to SAP itself in the form of user exits; customized SAP reports; front end (End User GUI) configuration.
