I look forward to hearing from you and seeing your qualified candidates. *Title: JAVA Developer* *Anticipated Start Date: ASAP * *Duration: Year end 2010, with expectation to extend through 2011. * *LOCATION - NORTH JERSEY* *Rate: $45/hr* *Requirement:* Analyze, design, code and test enhancements to existing application. The candidate must be proficient in object oriented methodologies with demonstrable experience in all stages of application development life cycle. Provide technical support for critical production system. Troubleshoot system issues reported by Help Desk. The candidate will be required to work in a team environment. He or she will be expected to learn the architecture of the existing application, review requirements documents, create technical design documents, develop, test, deploy and support technical solutions. Must be able to discuss any item on the resume submitted and demonstrate that their experience is consistent with that presented on the resume *Knowledge and Skills:* - Real time experience supporting major production web applications - Min 5 years of experience with JAVA / J2EE, Java Script, JQuery, HTML, CSS - Working knowledge of web-services, WSAD/RAD or Eclipse - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent - Must have excellent communication skills - Must be able to communicate what they have done and how they did it, in a manner that is direct and demonstrates clarity of thought - Must work well in a small team and be comfortable performing multiple roles involving many aspects of application development and support of a mission critical system - Must be highly motivated and take initiative to learn all aspects of an existing system in order to become an effective team member *Other skills that would be needed, but not a priority:* - Experience with Spring Framework a plus - Experience with Vignette Content Management or Vignette Application Portal is a plus. - Working knowledge of Adobe Flex is a plus - Experience in working with UDB / DB2 database applications a plus - Previous experience in automotive applications is a plus. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "KNOW.IT" group.
