Title: Senior Database Developer Pay: Market Rate
Term: 6 month contract Location: Menlo Park *citizen, green card or ead required • Data warehouse experience on Oracle (preferably on Oracle 11g) • ETL experience • Java, PHP, XML and Web Service experience (This is must have and we are hardly finding it in these candidates. We need some experience not a Java application developer) Responsibilities: • Work with business users to develop and refine business requirements for analysis that is timely and relevant • Ability to complete end-to-end project work including design, design reviews, development, unit test and deployment • Document data model, data dictionary, data flow and mapping for end users • Troubleshoot, optimize, and tune performance of ETL processes and analytics queries • Maintain a proactive attitude towards all data related work, finding new and better ways of performing existing tasks, emphasis on innovation Required Skills and Experience: • Experience in development of large scale data warehouse including data modeling, ETL and reporting • Expertise in Oracle database • Experience in one or more ETL tool (Informatica, OWB, ODI etc.) • Experience with Java, PHP, XML/XSL, Web Services • Strong data analysis skills • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment • BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) Desired Skills and Experience: • Experience with Hadoop, HBase and Hive • Understanding of coding design and documentation protocol as well as unit testing, change management and release procedures • Agile development process experience -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "KNOW.IT" group.
